Product Update

Production: April 22, 2024​

This Product Update provides a summary of changes and enhancements to the existing application that impact all customers. When applicable, it includes changes to functionality that were made to resolve customer-specific issues and that apply to all Tenovos users.

Unless otherwise stated, the availability of each update is as follows:

  • UAT: April 18, 2024
  • Production: April 22, 2024
  • Availability: All customers

Entitlements​

In Admin, the Entitlements tab allows administrative users to easily track the live state of the system against contractual entitlements. Users who are assigned a role with the "User Management" and "Purge" role privileges can access the Entitlements tab to view high-level metrics including:

  • Real-time metrics for Total Storage Space used and Total Enabled Users.
  • Month-over-month metrics for Total Storage Space used and Total Enabled Users for the past six months, as well as a predicted metric for the next six months.
  • Current Subscription Period details.
  • Quick links to manage storage and user entitlements.

Entitlement Administration​

Tenovos Entitlements is a new way to easily track the current state of the live system against:

  • Storage Space

    • Total Storage Space consists of three parts: Original Content, Renditions, and Migrations. If the sum of these three parts meet or exceed the total storage entitlement, assets will need to be purged from the Recycle Bin, or additional storage will need to be purchased before additional content can be added into the system.

      Note: Tenovos will not interrupt an upload that pushes total storage over the set entitlement, but will enforce the entitlement following the completion of the upload.

    • When Total Storage entitlement is met or exceeded, users will still be able to:

      • Upload story board banners
      • Upload branding files

    • When Total Storage entitlement is met or exceeded, users will not be able to:

      • Upload content
      • Save Getty assets to content
      • Create/Promote a version
      • Replace the preview of an asset

  • Enabled Users

    • If the Enabled Users entitlement is met, an administrative user will need to disable users before additional users can be created/enabled.
    • When your Enabled Users entitlement is met or exceeded, users will not be able to:
      • Create new users
      • Enable "Disabled" or "Pending" users

Entitlement Communication​

  • Specified users will receive notification emails when they have reached 70%, 80%, 90% and 100% of their entitlement.
  • To add additional users as email recipients, please contact your Customer Success representative.

Tenovos Connect​

Tenovos Connect is an enterprise connector framework that provides out-of-the-box integrations with the 1000+ cloud and on-prem apps that our customers use to sync data, automate workflows, collaborate, and more. With Tenovos Connect, you can build workflows that contain as much granularity as you need to share data between your Tenovos system and one or more external systems.

This Product Update introduces the availability of the Tenovos Connect integration framework. A Tenovos Connect UI is coming soon and will allow users to build and manage integrations within the Tenovos application.

Other Enhancements and Quality Improvements​

  • Resolved an issue where date formats were not respecting default browser settings.
  • Resolved an issue where some MP4 files would not generate a preview in Gallery view.
  • Resolved an issue where users were not shown necessary warning messages of potential data loss when removing a metadata group from a metadata template.
  • Resolved an issue where SSO users could not be impersonated through the REST API.
  • Resolved an issue where all facet values would show as present even when a user specified a search term in the facet search bar.
